Lace up your boots and grab your binoculars! Join local bird enthusiasts on a guided bird walk along the Otter Creek in Mt. Tabor! We will be exploring the property during peak spr ing migration in hopes of seeing waterfowl, herons, flycatchers, warblers, and whatever other feathered surprises the season brings! Come prepared to walk roughly 3 miles over uneven terrain and railroad tracks. Binoculars will not be provided, so please bring your own. This event will be held rain or shine and accompanied by a pre-recorded short introductory video. Guest guide:Spencer Ogden is a 2025 graduate of the University of Vermont with a major in Environmental Science. A lifelong lover of nature and animals, his particular passion is birds. While at UVM he was an officer in the Birding Club and a teaching assistant for an undergraduate Ornithology class. He has led local birding walks and is particularly excited by those that occur during a migration period. This summer he will return for a second year to work with Audubon Vermont on their healthy forests initiative which prioritizes increasing bird species diversity. Show more
