Lot 43 Pet Gap Rosé tasting notes:The bouquet is beautiful and elegant featuring an angelic tapestry of cotton candy and powdery pink rose petals haloing pastille frambois and lemon drop candy with subtle hints of grapefruit and cherry as the bouquet complexes. The wine is racy and mouthwatering on entry with pretty raspberry and cherry notes beautifully attenuated over crystalline, lemonhead-crusted acidity. Super zippy, fresh, nuanced and very complex, Lot 43 combines perfectly ripe fruit with brilliant, mouthwatering acidity. YUM. Lot 48 Oak Knoll Rosé tasting notes:Lovely light pink with just a kiss of lavender hue (the bottle shot doesn't do it justice). The bouquet is ripe and succulent offering up a jubilee of peach and pretty strawberry notes lifted on rose petals and underpinned with watermelon candy. With a little air, the bouquet complexes with pillows of whispery cotton candy, powdery pink rose petal and a hint of grapefruit. The fantastic bouquet is worth the price of entry alone. But the palate is equally compelling, juicy and succulent with raspberry and watermelon candy notes exquisitely balanced against schisty, diamond-crusted acidity that unfurls resounding waves of cherry candy and pretty peach notes in a long, mouthwatering finish. Bone dry, this deftly-made and lovely rosé perfectly balances ripe fruit and elegant structure. Lot 60 Sonoma Valley Sauvignon Blanc tasting notes:Shimmering pale yellow in the glass. Key lime, kaffir lime leaf, lemon curd and vanilla blossoms burst from the glass with citrus-dusted minerals mingling with guava notes and a hint of grapefruit. Juicy-yet-energetic on the palate with a supple entry amply supported with zesty grapefruit, guava and citrus notes laid over an absolutely fabulous structure of mouthwatering, sweet tart-crusted acidity. Fantastic tension, huge length and tremendous purity make for an exceptionally compelling Sauvignon Blanc. Lot 62 St. Helena Malvasia Bianca tasting notes:If you liked our Lot 28 Gewurztraminer, you are going to love Lot 62 Malvasia Bianca. The aromatics are fantastic, effusive with jasmine and honeysuckle blossoms haloing pretty peach and honey notes all underpinned with grapefruit. Fantastic nerve and tension on the palate with ample weight anchoring a ripe panoply of orchard fruit echoing over lemon-lime and grapefruit dusted acidity in a long, super-pretty finish. Juicy, mouthwatering and energetic, Lot 62 is decidedly food-friendly and a compelling sipper for a warm day in the sun.
