Why did the right triangle go to the beach? Because it was 90 degrees! Rebekah Werth is back to host another quilting workshop and has been brushing up on her geometry jokes too! Get ready to giggle and sew a quilt with the beautiful and versatile right triangle! Learn to make pinwheels, bow ties, chevrons, diamonds, and zigzags. This is a class for beginning quilters ready to branch out from squares and rectangles. In the first session, she will cover quilting basics, like using a rotary cutter and mat, chain piecing, and pressing. Quilters will learn a foolproof method for creating triangles. Participants will cut out the pieces they need to construct their quilt tops. Finished quilts will be mini-quilt sized at about 43" x 52". Quilters need to bring at least 3/4 yard each of two contrasting fabrics to the first session, as well as 1 yard for the border and binding.
