A great vintage with a wine from the heart of the Barossa. Poised, concentrated, tight, coiled and powerful. The flavours weave through dark chocolate, coffee beans, mocha, blackberries and beefstock notes. Seamless, intense, balanced and focused, there is very good length. Rich and ripe. Love it. This fruit comes with violet and musky, vanillin, cedarwood oak flavours attached, with minty, clovey characters then rounding it out. It has good heft and good texture, and it keeps the fruit going all the way through the finish.
