Springfields Ginger is a single, unblended essential oil, steam distilled from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale and supplied in an 10 mL bottle. The aroma is warm and spicy with a fresh, slightly green lift and a dry woody base, which is why it is so often reached for when a blend needs body and warmth rather than sweetness. It is used a drop at a time, diluted into a carrier oil for massage or added to a diffuser blend, and its job there is body: a dry, spicy warmth underneath citrus and floral notes that would otherwise sit thin. Product Strengths Ginger has a long tradition of use in aromatherapy as a warming spice note in cold weather. One hundred per cent pure ginger essential oil, with no carrier oil, extender or added fragrance. Steam distilled from the rhizome, the underground stem of the ginger plant. Warm, spicy and woody, with a fresh green top note that keeps it from sitting heavily in a blend. Every batch is tested for authenticity, including GC and MS analysis, specific gravity, refractive index and checks for pesticide and herbicide residues. Sourced from growers overseas and in Australia, then blended and bottled in Australia.
