These earrings are inspired by the popular 'Jhumka' earrings that has it's origins in ancient India and were futher popularised during the Mughal era.Jhumka earrings featured tiny droplets from a bell-shaped dome that would 'jingle' as the wearer moved and swayed. The tiny beads on our sprinkle earrings dance in much the same way.These small wavy hoops are delicately hand crocheted & stitched with a mixed media of 100% Grade A luminous mulberry silk and tiny glass sead beads/metal beads. They are finished with either sterling silver, niobium, gold filled or rose-gold filled hooks, depending on the colourway.
