The Surf Pole mounts securely to the existing roof rail at the top and the pinch seam at the bottom of the van. Its dual-tube design creates a rigid, vibration-free mounting surface for Surf Hooks while matching the profile of our Sprinter Side Ladders for a seamless, factory-style appearance. For a complete setup, run one Surf Pole paired with a Side Ladder or other 1.25” tubing ladder, or install two Surf Poles if you don’t plan to run a ladder at all. Constructed from lightweight aluminum and finished in a durable black powder coat, the Surf Pole weighs just 13 pounds and includes stainless steel mounting hardware. It’s compatible with Sprinter Side Steps and works with both the Sprinter Safari Roof Rack and Sprinter Low Pro Roof Rack on high roof vans. The Standard Rack requires minor modification to access the roof rail.
