ConstructionsThe shawl is knitted in two parts. First part is the edge with the swirls and an i-cord edge that will prevent rolling. Second part is the body, for that stitches are picked up from the non-icord side of the edge.Knitting starts from the middle, only a couple of stitches are knitted, using short row method more stitches are added on every row, until all the picked-up stitches are knitted and that’s when your shawl is ready, and you may cast off! Every 10th row on the edge is a short row worked only on the i-cord, to prevent the edge from tightening and pulling the edge to the wrong direction.
