MAKERS: Spunglo LTD WHEN: 1980’s WHERE: Wellington, New Zealand DESCRIPTION: What makes this Spunglo shade so cool? It was spun-well because it was spun right here in little ol Wel lington, NZ. Amazingly the company still operates to this very day, and although the light shade aluminium spinning side is no longer (probably due to cheap Chinese imports) So... If you can’t beat em join em, Spunglo now import hospitality goods! We think that’s pretty darn cool! Now if only we could just get our hands on that old light spinning machine!
