This Bayou Classic burner is made out of cast iron and features a fully welded frame. It features raised rungs for enhanced flame and heat distribution. Burners of this style use a medium-power 6" ring burner.The 16" diameter square cooking surface supports pots/kettles up to 100 quarts in size. Included with the burner is an adjustable 5 PSI regulator and a 3' LPG stainless steel braided hose.The 6" burner runs lower power flames but has more individual orifices than the 4-inch ring burner. Although the maximum power is lower, this 6 inch burner runs quieter and is more controllable at the lowest flame settings. That makes it a good choice if it will also be used for cooking. At full blast it can theoretically pump out 60,000 BTU.
