A flirty, half-hexagon shawl in two sizes (petite/tall), worked from hem to neck, featuring openwork motifs that mimic the textured patterns in ice crystals and snowflakes. While t he stitchwork and construction appear intricate, the motifs are actually worked entirely with simple maneuvers; the challenge with this piece is that it may require extra focus and attention. The result is well-worth the investment however, and wrong-side rest rows provide the opportunity to catch up, so that it knits up quickly in a heavier laceweight yarn.
