Jiangsu, circa 1880 This vintage cabinet dates back to the late 1800s and was fashioned in Jiangsu province on the eastern coast of China. Its heavy frames, panels, and central-set doors are in keeping with the traditional furniture styles of the area, including that of Shandong to the north. Beech wood was the material used, with a light finish on the outside and a darker lacquer for the interior. Two drawers and decorative hinges and hardware give an intriguing touch and the cabinet would be ideal for storage in any home. Show more
