Medium fits planters up to 16 x 16 x 16 inches. Large fits up to 20 x 20 x 18 inches. XL fits up to 24 x 24 x 20 inches. Measure the inside of your planter; if it is close to the maximum, choose the next size up and trim the height. Does the liner have drainage holes? No. Holes are not pre-cut, so you can cut them to line up with the drainage holes in your planter. A liner with no drainage will hold water around the roots. Is the liner waterproof? It is a waterproof barrier between wet potting mix and the planter walls. It is not designed as a pond liner or to hold standing water. How is this different from lining a planter with pond liner or plastic sheet? It is a bag made to the size of the planter, so there is no measuring, cutting to shape or stapling. Place it inside, press it into the corners and fill. Can I use it in a rectangular planter? No. It is made for square planters in the three sizes listed. How do I fit it? Place the liner in the planter and press it loosely into the corners. Fold or trim any extra height. Cut drainage holes to match the planter's, then fill with potting mix.
