Square/Rectangle Finishing Class

In this class, participants will learn how to finish a square/rectangle item to be finished. Can be a standup with acrylic frame or hanging ornament or sign no larger than 6x6. Cla ss participants will bring one stitched canvas, 6" or smaller and an 12 x12" piece of fabric for the backing and full size scissors. Fabric should be quilting cotton weight or similar weight. Participants will be provided with special scissors for cutting the canvas, mat board, batting, thread, cording materials, instruction guide etc. and will be guided through finishing the ornament using no glue. If your canvas needs blocking bring it in one week before class and we can have it completed for you. If you don't have a canvas stitched, let us know and we can provide a practice canvas for you at small fee. Class limited to 8 participants so sign up soon! Show more
