Hanoia has been hand-making Vietnamese lacquerware since 1997, working today from a traditional lacquer village near Hanoi. Lacquer is built layer by layer over months, sanded back between coats - never painted. The Moonbow line is built on gradient - colour blended smooth from one hue into the next, rather than set in contrast. The depth comes from the transition, not the shade. Show more
