The Moschata grex is a collection of seeds grown in the Northeast (MA, NY), the West (MT, UT, NM), MO and KY. Some grown with minimal inputs, some in greenhouse. Genetics include W altham Butternut, Black Futsu, Lofthouse Moschata, Rampicante/Trombino, a landrace of Southern Exposure Seed varieties, a moschata grex and a locally-adapted butternut selected for soft skin and excellent storage in zone 5b.
