This affordable Squier Affinity Telecaster, in a classic Sunburst finish, delivers solid playability, three-way switching and iconic Tele twang in a guitar that's undergone some remarkable upgrades recently. The neck and frets are much smoother than before, making more than a few folks take a second look at the least expensive standard size Teles available today. The durable build starts with a standard 25 1/2" scale length and an Alder body with a polyurethane gloss finish. The Maple neck is smoother than ever before, and still has the great Fender C shaped neck with a 9.5" radius. This has a 1.6" nutwidth - really comfortable, and you've got 21 Medium/Jumbo frets. The guitar feels solid in your hands but won't weigh you down. Under the hood, driving the twang, are two Vintage Style single coil Tele pickups, plus you've got three way switching, Volume and Tone.
