SRAM / Avid Brake Mounts are genuine brake caliper adapters to allow you to fit different sizes or brake rotor on your frame or fork. Post to Post mount: To suit Post Mount frames or forks, with Post Mount brake calipers. - Post Mounts bolt in towards your frame/fork. - This is different to IS Mount which bolts in perpendicular to your frame/fork. These adapters are not IS compatible. To work out what size you need: Check what size rotor your frame or fork is designed to natively accept (look up the specs) Check what size rotor you want to install. If you have 160mm frame mount, and want to run a 180mm rotor, choose a +20mm adapter. For example, the Rockshox ZEB features a native 200mm brake mount. To run a 220mm rotor, choose a +20mm brake adapter. Brand compatibility: These adapters are designed for SRAM and Avid brakes.
