This variable length bulkhead is made using 304 stainless steel hardware, in addition it includes a silicone flat gasket. It is 2 1/2" in length and perfect for kettles and coolers with a maximum wall thickness of 1 1/2". This bulkhead is especially well suited if you must drill through the wall instead of taking advantage of an existing spout. The thick flat silicone washers are much less likely to slip out from under the locknut and provide a better seal .They are also capable of covering oversized holes such as those found in some round coolers. The threaded nipple is straight thread rather than tapered (NPT) therefore the locknuts can thread the entire length.A pre-drilled hole that is 7/8" in size is required for installation.Specifications: Made out of 304 Stainless Steel 1/2" NPS Maximum Wall Thickness of 1 1/2" 2 1/2" Total Length Silicone Flat Gasket x 1 Requires a pre-drilled hole that is 7/8" in size for installation Measure Before Ordering
