The SSM (Surface Shovel Mount) is a billet aluminum bracket built to mount a shovel to flat surfaces — roof racks, carrier boxes, and MOLLE panels. Dual mounting angles give you better clearance when mounting near roof rails or other obstacles. Threaded holes in the rear let you fasten it directly to a surface with the included 1/4-20 hardware, and the mounting holes are spaced 6″ apart. The 3/8-16 threaded holes accept your shovel.
