The album is Navarre’s first as St. Germain since the release of Tourist in 2000. His previous two full-lengths, Tourist and 1995’s Boulevard, are certified classics within the realms of deep house. St. Germain is set to arrive on October 9 via Primary Society.For the new album, Navarre worked alongside a handful of African musicians. Traditional Malian instruments like the kora, the balafon and the n’goni were used alongside electric guitars, pianos, saxophones and electronic loops.
