This large mug has a deep black glaze with white splatter detail and a clay matt base which reveals the fine smooth textured red clay that was used by the Mino artisan potters. The mug also features a characterful straight edged angular handle. Chips Inc. created this work together with artisans from the Mino Province using Mino materials and techniques.
