This lead is designed to connect stage or Christmas lighting with 230v IEC 60309 commando plugs, to a IEC 60309 commando socket. Available with either 16A or 32A connectors. Black plugs and sockets are commonly used for entertainment, stage lighting, theatre and Christmas light applications. Available with two types of connector: 230v 16A IEC 60309 Black (standard connectors are blue) 43mm diameter 3 pins 230v 32A IEC 60309 Black (standard connectors are blue) 56mm diameter 3 pins Standard cheap online extension leads are often made from smaller diameter (1.5mm for 16A, 4mm for 32A) cable, to keep costs down.
