Staggered Shawl Designed by Amy Gunderson FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Depth: 25" Width across top edge: 64" MATERIALS Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop (50% rayon from bamboo, 50% cotton; 100g/292 yds) • 209 Jungle Life (A) - 1 ball • 210 Orchid Smash (B) - 1 ball • 112 Black (C) - 1 ball Needles: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 32" circular or size needed to obtain gauge Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle GAUGE 18 sts x 28 rows = 4" in garter stitch Save time, check your gauge. PATTERN NOTES This shawl is worked from the top down. The green (color A) and purple (color B) color changes are achieved by using the intarsia method. When changing from A to B and vice versa, be sure to bring the new color up and around the old color, putting a single twist in the yarns. This will prevent any holes from forming in the fabric.
