We upgraded your typical iron cable coil to a stainless steel one. It makes it vastly more challenging to rust and then finished the set in a beautiful range of technicolor coatings. Coil form has an advantage of its flexibility, but a conduit type has less stroke loss. If you are setting up more finicky drivetrains, such as those now equipped with 11 or 12 speeds- you may have difficulties keeping optimal shift performance in adjustment when using this housing. For riders running 7-10 speed systems or friction shift set ups- look no further.
