This solid plug is made out of 304 stainless steel and is meant to be used with female quick disconnect hardware (although, it does not work in conjunction with plastic or brass qu ick disconnects). It inserts into the female quick disconnect and seals it shut. For typical brewing applications, this connection will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less.
