The straps are wider, more durable, and designed to actually hold your foot. I use different leathers and heavier weights than what I typically see from Birkenstock, and I can make them look incredibly good—like what you’ll see in our Premium Custom Leather Sandal listing. That said, maybe you want something custom without going full ornate. This listing is perfect if you’re looking for clean, intentional customization: a business logo, a name, initials, or a short quote—something simple and meaningful. (If you’re looking for more detailed or decorative work, that’s absolutely possible, it just requires an upgrade.) Birkenstock can’t do that—but I can. The cool part? I’m legally able to source authentic Birkenstock components and swap out the things that don’t work. And then we take it further by pairing all of that with Vibram soles, ranging from the Woodstock all the way up to the Lug Sole (148 Kletterlift)—and yes, even our double sole option.
