The RotopaX Standard Pack Mount is the entry-level mounting solution for the RotopaX container system — a straightforward, budget-friendly option that gets any RotopaX container secured to any flat surface. If you are new to the RotopaX system, starting with a basic setup, or just need an additional mount point without the added cost of the DLX or LOX versions, the Standard Pack Mount gets the job done. Installation is simple. Mount the base plate to your chosen flat surface — bed rack, roof rack, tailgate, MOLLE panel, spare tire carrier, or truck bed wall — using the included hardware. Thread the mount into the center hole, place the container on the mount, and turn until tight. The whole process takes a few minutes and requires minimal tools. It is compatible with every RotopaX container in the lineup, from the 1-gallon packs up through the 4-gallon, as well as the RototraX traction boards and storage containers. Worth knowing before you buy: the Standard Pack Mount does not include the enhanced grip and easier tightening mechanism found on the DLX Pack Mount, and it does not include a lock like the LOX Pack Mount. For most everyday installations on flat surfaces where security and heavy off-road vibration are not primary concerns, it is a capable and cost-effective option. For rougher terrain, more frequent use, or permanent long-term installs, the DLX or LOX mounts are worth the step up.
