By deploying up to three SAMs, teams can generate comparable datasets across locations and management systems. Each SAM device captures the sounds of invertebrates moving and making noise within the topsoil. Measuring the amount and diversity of the sound made by worms, beetles, ants and other organisms provides a measurable indicator of biological soil health. This package includes your SAM and one year's subscription to the data analysis and reporting portal which enables you to upload recordings and receive a benchmarked Soil Acoustic Quality Index (SAQI) score.
