Joe Galindo was born in Mirfield, West Yorkshire in 1994 and showed a gift for drawing from an early age. At 24 he put down the brush and left for Vietnam, travelling across Asia before settling briefly in Australia, where he began painting again — selling work in Melbourne and Sydney, inspired by the jungles, coastlines, and wildlife he encountered. He returned to the UK in 2022 and committed fully to his practice: mixed media wildlife paintings built with spray cans, liquid pigments, fine art brushes, spoons, nails, and bits of rubber — each piece irreplicable, each animal's face carrying something of Galindo's own feeling.
