Stapelia leendertziae is a fascinating succulent from the stapeliad family, known for its unusual star-shaped flowers and upright, softly toothed stems. The flowers are a deep burg undy to almost chocolatey red, often with a velvety texture that makes them wonderfully curious to look at. Like many stapeliads, it is wonderfully low maintenance and well suited to sunny windowsills. Allow the compost to dry out thoroughly between waterings and give it plenty of bright light, with some protection from intense midday sun. During winter, water sparingly while the plant rests. A brilliant choice for succulent collectors who enjoy plants with a little character, Stapelia leendertziae brings architectural form and an unforgettable bloom to an indoor collection. Show more
