The Star Beta line consists of waxes that are still in testing and development that are not quite ready for to replace older waxes that are still viable, but fast enough that they should be available to the greater ski community for further testing in racing. The Star Beta liquids use a black additive that make the waxes work better in older/transformed conditions. Like the normal liquids, these new waxes work best when applied in multiple layers.
