These beautiful, rare Star Ruby oval shaped earrings are handcrafted in Fine Sterling Silver. These elegant earrings measure approx. 8 x 10 mm. Overall length including the hook is approx. 1 inch long by 0.4 inches wide. Star Ruby is the rarest type of Ruby that displays a raye star-like reflection of light (an asterism) on its surface when seen under direct light. The star-like patterning in crystal structure is created by rutile inclusions, which result in the six-rayed burst. These shining star rubies are said to be a talisman of passion, protection, and prosperity, they can also protect us from upcoming danger situations. Due to natural variations, the pattern & hue of Star Ruby may vary slightly. However, the overall earrings appearance will look similar to the images shown. Comes beautifully in a Starborn branded gift box. Show more
