A silver ring inspired by medieval posey and amulet rings - jewellery that carried inscriptions and symbols close to the skin as markers of devotion, protection and personal truth. Features four-pointed stars engraved four times around the circumference. The four-pointed star, like the quatrefoil in gothic architecture and the four-leaf clover today, has been a potent good luck charm for centuries. The four points symbolise balance, wholeness, totality and completion (think of the four points of the compass, the four elements, the four winds, the four quarters of the moon, the four rivers of Paradise, the four seasons…), and it can also represent the hermetic principle of ‘as within, so without’ - the law of correspondences, the macrocosm as a reflection of the microcosm.
