Star trails swirl in the night sky over the C-Scape Dune Shack in Provincetown. I was lucky to stay for one week in this dune shack, isolated in the Provincelands in the month of A pril. This shot is a one-hour long exposure of the night sky, showing the motion of the stars with the rotation of the Earth. I used a flashlight to "light paint" the shack, and the warm glow inside comes from the lit oil lamps and woodstove. Show more
