The rules adjust to players’ level of experience, eliminating overwhelm for beginners, but challenging advanced gamers. Plus, the pre-printed figurines allow you to enjoy the period without a large investment of time and resources. During the Texas Revolution (1835 - 1836), a mixed army of Mexicans and American, called Texians, wanted to liberate themselves from the Mexican dictatorship of Santa Anna. Imitating real-world conditions, the set reflects the advantages each army had. The Texians are well-trained for skirmish and scouting operations, with troops being able to shoot and move during the same turn. On the other side, the Mexicans benefit from a fine balance of power and mobility, with the Infantry and Cavalry regiments being exceptionally powerful in battle. The WoFun bases for this set measure 30x20mm each, are made from MDF (2.5mm thickness), and come printed in green (grass texture). They are structured as follows: An Infantry Base holds 2 groups of figurines, in 2 ranks (one behind the other). A Cavalry Base holds 2 groups of figurines, in 2 ranks.
