561 x 760 mm / 22 x 30 in (unframed) Acrylic on Canvas Painted in Byron Bay, Australia Sometimes the world is not what you expect it to be. Your ideology can be flipped on its head. People you love may surprise you at any moment, with things that are good and sometimes bad, and at times when we least expect it. Other times, it is us doing the change. We flip our minds, emotions and decisions all the time. Even my paintings have a mind of their own, especially if I think I have a plan for it – it decides to take me into a different direction, simply to be exactly where it needs to be. I worked on this piece with Post Malone's song 'Stay' in mind. And the end result was me working on this piece upside down to my original intent. Music and art to me, are some of the most moving things. That's why sometimes the two end up combining on my canvases. Embrace the flip, and flip anyone off that gives you grief. In the end, it will all be okay. Limited-edition prints of this artwork can be found here.
