The high-density LED arrangement allows the TYPE-X PRO to generate an impressive combination of light volume and beam distance, delivering the long-range performance expected from a premium driving light. Supplied as a set of two, the TYPE-X PRO also includes the wiring harness for a straightforward installation. Its hard-coated, optical-grade lens is engineered for outstanding durability and impact resistance, while an integrated UV stabiliser helps prevent discolouration and UV degradation over time. The robust lens design eliminates the need for secondary lens covers or filters, helping maximise light transmission through the optical system. Iconic Performance STEDI used advanced optical simulation modelling to continually refine the TYPE-X PRO reflector geometry and create a highly usable beam pattern. The result is an impressive 1,155-metre 1-lux beam distance when tested as a pair in the combination beam, but the real strength of the TYPE-X PRO lies in how the light is distributed between the vehicle and the horizon. The beam has been engineered to provide a smooth and consistent transition from mid-range to long-range illumination, helping reduce distracting shadows and improve overall visibility. Designed Around Driver Confidence The TYPE-X PRO's optical design focuses on putting useful light where it matters. Extended beam throw provides more time to identify and respond to hazards ahead. Smooth beam distribution helps reduce harsh shadows and uneven illumination. Reduced wasted light minimises illumination in areas that provide limited benefit, such as directly in front of the vehicle and above the road. Broad peripheral coverage improves visibility towards the road shoulders. Homogeneous beam pattern provides consistent illumination across the useful driving zone. Each TYPE-X PRO lamp also incorporates six built-in spread reflectors, extending light distribution towards the road shoulders without requiring additional wide-beam covers. Because the spread optics are integrated into the lamp, there is no need for separate covers that can reduce overall light transmission.
