The installation is fairly easy (have some SAE Allen keys handy= 5/32, I believe it was, for the new bolts. You will also need some Loctite for the bolts, which is not provided in the kit. The instructions provided were pretty decent, but they could have mentioned that size Allen key to help. Now I have! You're welcome... This firms up the shifter nicely, and really shortens the throws. 1-2 shift is noticeably chunkier, but otherwise it feels great. Note: effort WILL increase with this- you are changing the fulcrum of your shifter cable, so this is a physical reality. It's not bad at all, and it's more like what a sporty car's shifter should feel like.
