Many people think that the biggest threat to Stegosaurus was Tyrannosaurus Rex, yet Stegosaurus had already been extinct for approximately 80 million years before the appearance of Tyrannosaurus. That means less time separates us from Tyrannosaurus Rex than separated T-Rex from Stegosaurus. A specimen of Allosaurus - a large two-legged predator dinosaur pre-dating Tyrannosaurus Rex by 80 million years - bears puncture wounds that match the points of Stegosaurus tail spikes. This finding led scientists to determine that the slow paced herbivore used its tail as a weapon. These stud drop earrings pay homage to the toughest vegetarian to ever roam the Earth. Show more
