MUSEUM RELEASE "If anything is going to redefine Rutherglen Durif, it's this wine" (Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front) With only two barrels produced, this was Winemaker Rowly's f irst foray into Durif fermented on 70% of the stems. Striking, savoury, intense, structured. A bright ruby hue, with a heady nose of plums poached in star anise, savoury herbs, nutmeg and a whiff of white pepper. A bright palate of sour cherry, tart cranberry and dark plums finishing with fine, lingering tannin. Wild yeast fermentation, with maturation in Foudre (no new oak). Unfiltered.
