These stencils work best with really thick paint, texture paint , and texture sprays. Best used on flat surfaces, the stencil has a little flex but is not ideal for uneven surfaces. Use s large roller, sponge, or spray as the small details can break if too much force is applied.Use rough block texture for adding walkways, paths and other small stone ground texture to your terrain boards. This template is made from .8mm micro thin plywood and is very durable. The wood is susceptible to warping with water-based paints and texturing mediums. Spray the stencil with a solvent-based primer and sealer before using with water based mediums. Just spray, wipe clean with a rag and spray the next spot. Works well for 28 to 54mm scale figures.
