Media Narrative: “Born To Be Wild” became biker shorthand after Easy Rider, locking Steppenwolf into motorcycle mythology far beyond the band’s actual story. Scene Ecology: The debut sits where LA psych, garage rock, biker culture, and heavier guitar music started feeding into what people would soon call hard rock. 5/20/26 LM +1 6/6/25 - EK Show more
