Queensland coast, 2019. Stepping Stone observes a single footprint. Raex Murillo frames it in minimalist black and white, restrained and observational. Soft greys, hard contrast, and a fleeting moment.Raex Murillo is an Australian fine art photographer, based in Dubai. He works primarily in digital photography, using natural light, cinematic framing, and subtle direction. Sixteen years of work span campaign, resort, and editorial imagery, for luxury brands, hotels, and independent designers across Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. His practice explores intimacy, imperfection, memory, and the female form. His work moves between documentary realism and stylised fashion imagery, drawn to the tension between strength and vulnerability, control and spontaneity, surface beauty and the narrative beneath. He has an eye for the moment that feels unscripted yet intentional. He looks for the subtle imperfections that make a subject feel real, rather than constructed. His influences run to nostalgia, European cinema, and the psychology beneath physical presence. Raex prints with High Society Gallery on archival grade paper.
