Sterile Dressing Pack A single use pack containing a sterile paper field, gauze pieces and a pair of plastic forceps, sealed until you open it. The point of a dressing pack is the wrapper. Opening it gives you a clean surface to lay instruments on, which is difficult to improvise at two in the morning on a laundry floor. Breeders tend to keep two or three in the whelping kit and treat them as consumables rather than equipment. • Sealed single use pack • Contains a sterile paper field, gauze and plastic forceps • Opens flat to give a clean working surface • Contents are sterile until the seal is broken • Discard after one use Open it by peeling the seal back and letting the pack fall open without touching the inside face. Once anything unsterile touches the field, the field is no longer sterile. Important This is a general purpose consumable.
