Description Sterling is a great substitute for Saaz due to a similar spice aroma. This hop is very similar to Santiam but not as floral. Best described as herbal and spicy, with a hint of floral, citrus (lemon/pineapple) characteristics. Ideal for all Lagers, Belgian ales, and Wheat ales.
