Dating to the height of the Victorian era, this sterling silver salver is a beautiful piece of London silversmithing at its most ambitious. The surface is engraved with scrolling f oliage, floral medallions, and symmetrical foliate panels radiate from a central reserve — ideal for a family crest or monogram. The shaped border is cast in a bold shell-and-scroll pattern with alternating cartouche panels, and the whole piece rests on cast ornate scroll feet that echo the richness of the upper decoration.
