A sterling silver Mid-Century tie bar. The tie bar has a quality, well made feel to it, with a thick gauge of silver used. The end has a lightening bolt style cut out design applie d to the end. The relief of which is oxidized to give it contrast and depth. The tie slide offers a way to add a little detail to an outfit, but at the same time, nothing too kitsch or novelty. The piece was made by American based jewellery designer Caroline Gleick Rosene. Working out of San Francisco between 1940 to the 1960's, Rosene worked mainly in silver and had a modernist approach to her aesthetic. Made in America, circa 1960. Show more
