Measures 3.5" x 3.1" Vinyl sticker with satin finish Meet the Artist Lucinda Rowe is an artist based out of Roanoke, VA, living in a small house surrounded by catbirds, columbine, and maple trees. She specializes in delicately detailed biological illustrations with a particular fondness towards birds and insects. When she's not busy in her studio, she is often birding up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains, transforming her yard into a wild garden, and hiking with her dog. She grew up in Lexington, VA, where she spent much of her childhood playing in creeks and cow fields, coloring in her tree house, and joining her parents on yearly Christmas Bird Counts. She earned an MFA in Children's Book Writing & Illustrating from Hollins University and a BFA in Drawing from Guilford College. She has taught at Radford University and is a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society.
