The cutting performance remains identical to the previous model, the main changes are improvements to the design and controls. This Stihl MSA60 C-B 12" Battery Powered Chainsaw is suitable for home owners, for cutting firewood, garden maintenance, strictly domestic use. Whats New ? New design - the Stihl MSA60 chainsaw has a modern, attractive design that is consistent with the new Stihl AK system models. New battery design for double battery kits - there are no technical changes to the batter, just and updated design and modern packaging. Improved visibility of the chain oil level. Ergo lever - the side button has been replaced with a thumb lever and OPC switch ( same as petrol models ). This chainsaw has also been designed for increased comfort and safety. Updated electronics - some internal components have been updated to ensure compliance with the ne IEC 62841 standard. Other features include : Quick chain tensioning - no tools are required to remove the sprocket cover and replace, or tension the chain. Comfortable - soft rubberised grip, optimally balanced handle positions, low vibration, low weight. Battery transport position - stored securely in the machine, for moving around the garden safetly.
